Provision of New Biometric Passports: Arpine Sargsyan
Armenia will eventually be able to provide its citizens with new generation biometric documents. This was stated by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Arpine Sargsyan, during a session of the parliamentary committee.
"We are in the third phase of the implementation of the new biometric system, and I am pleased to state that, in the end, Armenia will be able to provide its citizens with new generation biometric documents. This timeline is set for autumn 2026," she noted.
