New Contracts for Road Repairs in Ajapnyak and Nubarashen
The Yerevan Municipality has signed new contracts aimed at the execution of road construction works. According to information from the official procurement website, the contracts pertain to the repair of road sections, as well as the renovation of asphalt-concrete coverings for courtyards, intra-yard roads, streets, and sidewalks.
During a working consultation of the Yerevan Municipality, Mayor Tigran Avinyan stated that the reason for the repairs is the damage caused by the use of salt and sand during the winter. It appears that the 'quality' asphalt could not withstand a small trial, although it is unclear under what circumstances the quality should have been evident.
The first signed contract was with the company "Ta Shin" LLC, which will carry out asphalt-concrete repairs for courtyards, intra-yard roads, streets, and sidewalks in the Ajapnyak administrative district. For this purpose, 94 million drams have been allocated from the state budget.
The other contract was signed with "Arhovshin" LLC. This company is obliged to rehabilitate the collapsed road section located at the end of 9th Street in the Nubarashen administrative district. The contract stipulates the allocation of 85 million 138 thousand 901 drams to the company.
Thus, a total of approximately 179 million drams of state resources are planned for road construction works through these two contracts.
