Estonia's Intelligence on Russia's Plans to Attack NATO
According to Estonia's intelligence, Russia has no plans to attack NATO. "There is no reason to panic. According to the External Intelligence Service, Russia does not intend to attack Estonia or any other NATO member state next year," said Kaupo Rosin, head of the External Intelligence Service, in the foreword to the agency's 2026 annual report.
"Our task is to maintain this situation for tomorrow and in the future. Russia's military reforms will increase its military potential in the future. To counter this, we in Estonia and NATO must continue investing in our defense. Russia's calculations about the balance of power must always be in our favor," he noted.
