There is an Armenian among the victims of the tragic train accident involving the Malaga-Madrid train. According to NEWS.am, the deceased is Ellen Baghdasaryan.

The Armenian community in Malaga has expressed its condolences to Baghdasaryan's family and relatives over this heavy loss.

It is reminded that in southern Spain, a collision between two high-speed trains has resulted in at least 39 fatalities, and dozens more have been injured, according to authorities. This marks the country’s largest rail disaster in the last decade. The trains derailed on a recently renovated segment of the railway.
