Several Roads in Armenia Rendered Impassable Due to Blizzard Conditions
Starting from January 22, as predicted, wind speeds of 15-18 m/s have been observed in various regions of the republic, leading to snowstorm conditions in some areas. This information has been provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.
As a result, several roads have become impassable. During the day on January 23 and into January 24, wind intensification of 17-20 m/s is again expected in the mountainous regions of Aragatsotn, as well as in certain parts of Lori, Gegharkunik, and Syunik.
