Beware of New Scam on TikTok, Ministry of Internal Affairs Warns
The social media platform TikTok is witnessing the spread of posts allegedly offering Armenian citizens a chance to receive a 300,000 dram benefit from a 'social fund' through a limited-time link and application process. This information has been reported by the police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
However, in reality, criminals are once again attempting to acquire your personal and banking information (such as card number, PIN, CVV, one-time codes, etc.) through this method, which may subsequently lead to the theft of your funds.
We urge you not to click on suspicious links and not to fill out any information requested in the 'application'.
