Defense Minister Comments on His Participation in Pilgrimage
Regarding his participation in the pilgrimage, he participated as a citizen of Armenia, as a member of the "Civil Contract" party's board, and as the Minister of Defense. This was stated by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, during a press briefing.
“Dear colleagues, I do not wear epaulettes, I am not a military officer, my political activity is not only not prohibited by law, but is also encouraged. Now, if due to various circumstances or because of the challenges facing our country, I have perhaps retreated somewhat from political activity, I am currently engaged in my duties as the Minister of Defense, but that is also part of political activity,” said Suren Papikyan.
