Construction of the 'Zangezur Corridor' Continues at Accelerated Pace, Says Azerbaijani Prime Minister
The construction of the 'Zangezur Corridor' in Azerbaijan continues at an accelerated pace. This was announced by Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov during a meeting of the intergovernmental joint commission of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
“It is gratifying to note that the foundation of the Kars-Nakhchivan railway was laid in August, which is part of the 'Zangezur Corridor' and will serve Azerbaijan, Turkey, and other countries,” said Ali Asadov.
According to the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, this railway is set to become the main artery of the 'Middle Corridor' with an initial capacity of 15 million tons.
