Azerbaijani Model to Be Applied in Syrian Army Training, Turkey's Defense Minister
Turkey's authorities will utilize a model previously applied with Azerbaijan for the training of the Syrian army. This was announced to reporters by Turkey's Defense Minister Yaşar Güler, as reported by Hürriyet.
According to him, the formations of the 'Syrian Democratic Forces' (SDF) should be integrated into the Syrian army on an individual basis, rather than as a separate entity. Güler emphasized that this pertains to complete integration under a unified command, without maintaining separate military identities.
The Defense Minister highlighted that Turkey is ready to provide military and educational support to Syria's security forces, employing the model previously used during collaborations with Azerbaijan, as well as Libya and Somalia.
