Aliyev Expected in St. Petersburg: Russian Foreign Ministry
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is expected to attend the CIS leaders' informal summit in St. Petersburg, with preparations for his visit to Russia underway. Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Russian President, informed 'RIA Novosti' about this.
According to him, the Russian side is anticipating Aliyev's participation and is preparing in accordance with the summit's planned format.
It is worth noting that the informal CIS summit is scheduled for December 21-22. As in previous years, the participation of leaders from member countries is anticipated to discuss current regional issues and cooperation matters.
