The Last Sodium Streetlight in Yerevan Disassembled: Avinyan
The last sodium streetlight in Yerevan has been disassembled on Azatutyan Boulevard and replaced with a modern ultra-bright 3000 Kelvin color temperature LED light. This was reported by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan.
“In recent years, we have completely replaced the old sodium-type streetlights with new LED lights, ensuring energy-efficient lighting for the entire city during nighttime. Over the past two years, we have installed 22,219 energy-saving LED streetlights,” the mayor wrote.
