Real Estate Prices in Meghri Have Increased by 50%: The Impact of the August 8 Agreement, Ghahramanyan
According to Narek Ghahramanyan, a member of the 'Civil Contract' faction, the fact that there have been no gunshots on both sides of the Syunik border, not only since August 8 but also before that, indicates a lot. This was stated during a parliamentary briefing.
"According to my information, real estate prices in Meghri have increased by 50%. This is a very striking fact regarding the impact of the August 8 agreement," he said.
Regarding the local residents' attitudes toward the ongoing events, the deputy mentioned that being from Kapan, he is in constant contact with the inhabitants of the region, and they are currently pleased with the situation. "I am in constant communication with citizens. Naturally, especially in the Syunik region, which has faced military operations since 1988 and has not had a single year without casualties or gunfire on the border, they are satisfied with this situation. However, there are shortcomings, and they need to be corrected," the deputy said.
