Leaders of France, Germany and the UK Hold Talks with Trump on Ukraine Issue
The leaders of France, Germany, and the United Kingdom have held joint negotiations with U.S. President Donald Trump. The main topic of discussion was the United States' mediation efforts to end the war in Ukraine. This information was reported by the Élysée Palace.
French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer discussed the latest developments in the peace process with the American leader. "The leaders addressed the recent developments initiated by the United States in mediation efforts and welcomed its endeavors aimed at achieving lasting peace in Ukraine and ending the killings," the source noted.
The parties agreed that it is now a "critical moment for Ukraine, its people, and the collective security of the Euro-Atlantic region." The French presidential office added that intensive work is ongoing and will continue in the coming days.
