Everyone Will Return, Including the Former Leaders of Artsakh: Alen Simonyan
Today, there are 23 confirmed prisoners of war. Let’s wait, and I am confident that the number of prisoners will eventually reach zero, said the President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, during a briefing.
“Everyone will return, including the former leaders of Artsakh. Our government will do everything possible to ensure that all of them return without exception,” he noted.
It is worth mentioning that since January 17, Azerbaijan has been conducting a trial against the former military-political leaders of Artsakh. Among the defendants are former presidents Arkadi Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, Araik Harutyunyan, former commander of the defense army Levon Mnatsakanyan, former foreign minister David Babayan, and others. The case of former state minister Ruben Vardanyan is being examined separately.
