Another Suspect Arrested in Louvre Museum Robbery Case
Le Parisien reports that another person has been arrested in Paris, suspected of being part of the group that carried out the robbery at the Louvre Museum. Earlier, two other suspects had also been arrested.
It should be reminded that the robbery took place on October 19. In the morning, the robbers, using a crane, broke one of the museum's glass panels and stole jewelry from the Hall of Apollo, including pieces from the collection of Napoleon Bonaparte and his wife.
In total, nine pieces of jewelry were stolen, but one of them, the crown of Empress Eugénie, the wife of Napoleon III, was later found near the museum, damaged. The thieves had fled the scene on scooters, and the entire operation lasted about 6-7 minutes.
According to media reports, the robbery was carried out by a group of four, two of whom entered the museum.
