Russian Foreign Intelligence Data is Never Baseless, Peskov Comments on Pashinyan's Statement
The press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, has responded to information regarding Armenia's plans to purchase expensive grain from Ukraine. Peskov emphasized that data from the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) is never considered 'baseless.'
Previously, the Russian SVR reported that Armenian authorities intend to buy grain from Ukraine. Shortly thereafter, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan categorically denied this information, stating that no such agreement exists.
Commenting on Pashinyan’s statement, Peskov noted, 'The information from the Russian Foreign Intelligence is never unfounded. It is always based on verified data,' adding that Moscow trusts the assessments made by its intelligence services.
