Zakharova Responds to Pashinyan's Statement
Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, has reacted on her Telegram channel to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement that the historical issues hold the Turkish, Armenian, and the Soviet Union's Committee for State Security (KGB) accountable.
Zakharova wrote: "The KGB was established in 1954. The Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire began in 1915—almost 40 years before the KGB was founded."
