Alen Simonyan on Aliyev and Erdogan's Visit to Armenia
Armenia's parliament speaker Alen Simonyan has confirmed that there are no issues preventing Azerbaijan's leaders from visiting Armenia. He made this statement during a press conference with journalists.
“The absence of their participation in the 12th regular session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly in Yerevan is purely related to their organization's relationships. They do not see any issues regarding our cooperation and mutual visits,” he stated.
According to Simonyan, Armenia expects that all countries that have consistently participated in the summit of the European Political Community will also participate in Yerevan.
“Dear citizens, be prepared, Azerbaijani delegations will be visiting Armenia, and Armenian delegations will head to Azerbaijan. Of course, there are questions that need to be discussed, particularly regarding prisoners and detained individuals, but nevertheless, the communications will continue, and we will deepen them,” he added.
Simonyan hopes that Aliyev and Erdogan will come to Armenia. “We will do everything to ensure it is comfortable for them here,” he emphasized.
