Attacks Against the Church Only Strengthen It, Says Serzh Sargsyan
Attacks against the church can only be initiated by a person with mental issues, someone completely filled with malice, or someone carrying out the orders of an enemy, stated the 3rd President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, after a court session regarding his actions.
“As for the Supreme Patriarch, I am confident that he is steadfast and will faithfully perform his national and ecclesiastical duties in any circumstances,” he noted.
“But we all know that attacks against the church only serve to strengthen it. So, let us wait patiently,” he added.
