Trump Fears Netanyahu May Withdraw from Gaza Agreement: New York Times
The Trump administration is concerned that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may withdraw from the ceasefire agreement reached in Gaza, reports the New York Times, citing sources.
It is noted that Trump now believes that Hamas leaders are ready to continue negotiations.
Earlier on Sunday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that a serious violation of the ceasefire had been recorded in Gaza by Hamas. In response, the Israeli Air Force targeted dozens of Hamas positions.
The ceasefire agreement between Israel and the Palestinian group Hamas came into effect on October 10.
