Former National Assembly member Manvel Grigoryan's heirs and associated individuals are set to have property and financial assets worth over 1.2 billion AMD seized for the benefit of the Republic of Armenia. This information was announced by the Armenian Prosecutor General's Office.
The court partially granted the prosecutor's claims, but the Prosecutor General's Office will appeal the rejected portion of the lawsuit.
It is noteworthy that the prosecution had sought to confiscate both cash and real estate from Grigoryan's heirs.
According to the announcement, the prosecutor’s office demands the seizure of 28 real estate properties located within the territory of Armenia, 16 vehicles, and, in cases of impossibility, more than 2,552,000,000 AMD, as well as shares in six legal entities and a total of 668,160,803 AMD in loans granted to legal persons.
Additionally, the prosecution is seeking the seizure of 19,236,606 AMD as remaining illegal cash, 18,656,316 AMD as deposit balances, and 17,027,871 AMD considered unrelated to legal income, which has an illegal origin.
