14 More Protesters Arrested in Georgia
In the past two days, law enforcement agencies have arrested 14 more participants of small protest actions in Tbilisi. This was announced during a press briefing by the head of the Tbilisi police department, Vazha Siradze.
“In the last two days, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested 14 individuals for violating the rules of gatherings and demonstrations, in accordance with the administrative violations code,” he stated.
The head of the police department added that under the new law, repeat offenders will face criminal charges.
