Electricity Underreporting Identified in HETC's Masis Network: Romanos Petrosyan
The temporary manager of HETC, Romanos Petrosyan, has announced on his Facebook page that over 830,000 kWh of electricity underreporting has been discovered in the Masis electric network of the HETC's "Araks" branch. This underreporting involves autonomous producers (solar plants) supplying energy to the network.
“In this case, the underreporting pertains to approximately 435 consumer entities (both individuals and legal entities), for whom HETC must again clear the established surplus of 830,055 kWh, which will inevitably cause significant losses to the company,” Petrosyan stated.
He emphasized that a proper report regarding the newly recorded facts will be submitted to the Prosecutor General's Office, and a relevant letter will be addressed to the Chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission of the Republic of Armenia.
