Poland Rejects Zelensky's Call to Close the Baltic Sea
Poland has declined to heed the call of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to close the Baltic Sea due to Russia's "shadow navy." This statement was made by the President of Poland, Karol Nawrocki.
Nawrocki emphasized that such measures cannot be taken solely based on the statements of the Ukrainian leader. At the same time, he noted that Poland's security remains a priority, and the developments in the Baltic Sea are concerning.
"I am monitoring the situation in the Baltic Sea along with the National Security Bureau (NSB) and the presidents of the Baltic States. We are awaiting our military's analysis. Such decisions are not made based on President Zelensky's words," Nawrocki stated.
