In greeting the guests, the Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the agreements reached during the meetings held in Washington on August 8 and expressed hope that joint efforts would allow for the development of bilateral relations within the frameworks of the memoranda of understanding signed between the Republic of Armenia and the United States.
The interlocutors discussed regional developments and the possibilities of unblocking communications, addressing the importance of the 'Trump Path to International Peace and Prosperity' project. In this context, Brendan Henry, the head of the State Department’s Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, stated, 'I am very pleased to announce that by working with Congress, we intend to provide $145 million in support to Armenia. This is the first tranche of funding aimed at implementing the 'Trump Path to International Peace and Prosperity' project and related agreements reached on August 8, through supporting investments in the areas of trade, infrastructure, critical mineral supply chains, and cross-border security.'
