The US Changes Non-Immigrant Visa Application Rules
The United States is changing the rules for obtaining all non-immigrant visas, requiring applicants to present documents from their country of citizenship or residency, according to a statement from the State Department.
"Applicants for a US non-immigrant visa must schedule their interview at a US embassy or consulate in their country of citizenship or residence," the statement reads.
At the same time, citizens of countries where the United States does not issue non-immigrant visas must submit their applications to a designated embassy or consulate.
