Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Rapidly Exits the Country
“I never thought I would have to flee my country like a thief in the night,” stated former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in an interview with Corriere della Sera. His departure was prompted by the Zelensky government’s ban on former diplomats traveling abroad. Kuleba managed to leave the country just hours before the decree came into effect.
“Zelensky and his entourage do not want us to travel abroad and speak about things that, in their opinion, could contradict the government’s line. I don't believe I suffer from persecution delusions, but I certainly know that this decree aims to hinder my and a few others' ability to leave,” he added.
