Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev greeted each other, but there was no substantive dialogue. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, during a conversation with journalists.
“They greeted each other, shook hands, but, in essence, there was no substantive communication involving a meaningful conversation or directed towards practical results,” said Dmitry Peskov.
