Turkish President Expresses Satisfaction: Details on Erdogan-Pashinyan Negotiations
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has expressed satisfaction regarding the progress in the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Erdogan's office has provided details about the negotiations between Erdogan and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
"Turkey supports peace, stability, and development in the region and will continue to contribute to this process," the office stated. Erdogan also noted that he appreciates steps aimed at expanding cooperation between Turkey and Armenia.
The Armenian government indicated that both parties highlighted the importance of efforts aimed at establishing stability and peace in the region. "Prime Minister Pashinyan and President Erdogan emphasized the necessity of maintaining constructive approaches to foster an atmosphere of mutual trust and to develop regional communications. The parties agreed to continue the dialogue," the statement said.
It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the SCO summit. The Prime Minister has released a video from the meeting.
