Georgian President: Trump Says Nothing About Our Country Amid Armenian-Azerbaijani Relations
The President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, has addressed a letter to U.S. President Donald Trump, as reported by the Georgian First Channel.
In the letter, it is noted: "During your presidency, you have established close relations with all of Georgia's neighboring countries, successfully contributing to the signing of a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, actively collaborating with Turkish authorities, and even restoring partnership with Vladimir Putin. However, against this backdrop, your administration says nothing about Georgia, which raises surprise among the Georgian public.
The Georgian public is concerned about the dominance of a 'Deep State' based on war and disorder in Georgia, to which, unfortunately, your administration is passively adhering. I continue to hope that your administration's attitude towards Georgia will change. It is important for the perception of the American people in Georgia to be associated not with the 'Deep State' but with a strong American president, associated not with the continuous attempts to disrupt peace and create instability but with the establishment of peace and stability, not with the promotion of gender and LGBTQ agendas but with respect for traditional values.
As the President of Georgia, I am personally ready to support to the fullest the declared goal of the Georgian government to restore the strategic partnership between Georgia and the United States based on a new page and a specific roadmap. A necessary condition for achieving this goal is the establishment of a fair and attentive attitude from your administration towards the Georgian state and the Georgian people," wrote the President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili.
