Ceasefire Not Needed, Ukraine to Receive Security Guarantees, Trump Says
U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that a ceasefire in Ukraine is not a prerequisite for reaching a peace agreement, as both sides can work towards a resolution despite ongoing combat. “I don’t think a ceasefire is necessary, but we can work on an agreement while they are fighting,” he said.
According to Donald Trump, Ukraine will be provided with certain security guarantees. “A very significant amount of assistance will be provided to them in terms of security. NATO will pay for American armaments for Ukraine,” President Trump stated.
