Azerbaijan Aware of Russia's Stance on Arms Supply to Kyiv: Russian Foreign Ministry
The Russian position on the supply of weapons to the Kyiv regime is well known to Azerbaijan. Such actions will only exacerbate the situation, stated Alexey Fadeev, Deputy Director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during a press briefing, as reported by TASS.
The diplomat commented on information suggesting that Baku might lift its ban on arms supplies to Kyiv if the Russian armed forces continue to attack Azerbaijani gas facilities located in Ukraine.
“The Russian Foreign Ministry has taken note of these reports, and I can say that our Azerbaijani partners are well aware of our stance regarding the supply of dual-use weapons or humanitarian assistance to the Kyiv regime. We believe that such actions do not contribute to the peaceful resolution of the conflict and will only worsen the situation on the ground,” he emphasized.
