Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan Discusses with the President of Iran
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Massoud Pezeshkian. This was reported by the Prime Minister's spokesperson Nazeli Baghdasaryan on her Facebook page.
“The Prime Minister presented the results of the negotiations that took place in Washington, D.C. on August 8, emphasizing the opportunities that the established peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan opens for the region. Prime Minister Pashinyan highlighted that regional transport routes will operate within the framework of territorial integrity, sovereignty, and the principles of jurisdiction of the countries, based on reciprocity.
The Prime Minister thanked the Iranian President for providing an objective assessment of the agreements in Washington and underscored the importance of the Iranian President’s upcoming visit to the Republic of Armenia,” said the spokesperson.
