Trump: I Will Personally Intervene If Armenia or Azerbaijan Violate Agreements
US President Donald Trump has stated that he is prepared to personally intervene if Armenia or Azerbaijan violate peace agreements reached. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
“I’ve made a personal commitment to them. If conflict arises, they both know they can call me, and we will sort everything out,” Trump said during a ceremony for the signing of a joint statement in the presence of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at the White House.
Additionally, it is noted that as a result of the trilateral meeting, Armenia, the US, and Azerbaijan signed a joint statement.
