Artsakh Was Not Given Up by Russia, But by the Armenian People. Armen Ashotyan
“I do not agree that Russia has given up Artsakh. No matter how harsh it may sound, the Armenian people gave up Artsakh.” This was stated by the Vice President of the Republican Party of Armenia, Armen Ashotyan, during a press conference.
“By not fighting against the regime that brought them to power and through whose hands Artsakh was handed over. Artsakh became a victim of Nikol's personal ambitions, the political masters of various geopolitical combinations and machinations.
“Could Artsakh become Armenian again? Yes. If anyone comes out now and promises you that, do not believe it. Faith must be in the heart,” said Armen Ashotyan.
