Major Car Accident on Dilijan-Vanadzor Highway

On August 3, at 6:59 PM, the crisis management center of the Tavush regional rescue department received information that cars had collided on the Dilijan-Vanadzor highway, resulting in injuries that required rescuers' assistance.

A combat team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that vehicles of the brands 'Ford' and 'VAZ' collided at the 1st km of the Dilijan-Vanadzor highway.

Six injured individuals were hospitalized in medical centers. Rescuers de-energized the vehicles, secured the area, and closed the valve of the gas cylinder of the 'VAZ' brand car.
