Armenian President Signs New Laws
The President of the Republic, Vahagn Khachatryan, signed a package of amendments and changes to various laws on July 28. This includes amendments to the law on combating money laundering and terrorist financing.
Additionally, changes were made to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Armenia, amendments to the law on administrative offenses, additions to the law on the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia, and changes to the Civil Code of the Republic of Armenia.
Further amendments were also made to the Law on Advocacy, to the laws regarding Banks and Banking Activities, Insurance and Insurance Activities, the Securities Market, Currency and Currency Control, Pawnshops and Pawnbroking, Investment Funds, Credit Organizations, and Payment Systems and Payment Organizations.
