+40. Heatwave to Continue: Weather in Armenia

From July 28-31 and August 1, dry weather is expected across Armenia. In the evenings, wind speeds are predicted to intensify, reaching 16-19 m/s. The temperature will gradually rise from July 28-29. This information is reported by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.

On July 28-29, no precipitation is expected. However, on July 30-31 and August 1, isolated showers and thunderstorms may occur in certain regions, with a possibility of hail. Wind speeds will be from the west at 2-5 m/s, but may increase to 17-20 m/s during thunderstorms.

From July 27-31 and the evening of August 1, wind gusts are expected to reach 15-18 m/s in Armavir, Kotayk, and the foothills of Aragatsotn.

Temperature increases of 2-4 degrees Celsius are anticipated from July 28-29.
