Azerbaijan Refuses to Participate in CIS Economic Council Meeting in Moscow
Azerbaijan has refused to participate in the CIS Economic Council meeting scheduled to take place in Moscow. This was reported by Azerbaijani media.
It is noted that Azerbaijan usually represents the meeting with First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov.
“Yagub Eyyubov will not be present at this event. The reason for this decision is the recent events in Yekaterinburg, the shooting down of the AZAL aircraft by Russia at the end of last year, and the Russian side’s unpreparedness to take adequate measures to resolve these issues,” said a knowledgeable source.
