Zelensky Reminds Trump How Good Things Were Under Biden
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has begun to blame US President Donald Trump for inadequate aid and has reminded him of how good things were before his administration, when the country was led by former President Joe Biden.
"I remember that before Trump became president, we had a powerful deterrence package. I wanted America to sell us such a package. But that didn't happen. We talked about this with President Trump," Zelensky said in an interview with the American Newsmax channel.
US President Donald Trump, who has previously criticized his predecessor Joe Biden for providing multibillion-dollar military assistance to Ukraine, has announced a new scheme for supplying weapons to Kyiv through NATO allies. According to him, the United States will sell a large shipment of weapons worth billions of dollars to European countries, including missiles, air defense systems, and ammunition, after which the allies will transfer them to Ukraine and replenish their supplies through new purchases from American producers. Trump emphasized that the scheme is fully coordinated and will be implemented in the near future using resources from NATO countries.
