NATO Secretary General Explains Why He Called Trump 'Daddy'
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte spoke about calling U.S. President Donald Trump 'Daddy' during an interview with The New York Times at the alliance's summit in The Hague. Rutte stated that his words were an expression of gratitude, and if anyone deserves praise, it should be given to him.
'President Trump deserves all the praise since without his leadership, without the re-election of the U.S. President, we would never, ever have been able to agree on the issue of NATO’s defense spending being 2% this year and 5% by 2035,' said the alliance leader.
