U.S. President Donald Trump has condemned Israeli prosecutors for opening a corruption case against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, emphasizing that Washington, by providing billions of dollars in aid to Israel, is not prepared to tolerate such actions.

Netanyahu has faced three criminal charges since 2019, including bribery, fraud, and breach of trust, all of which he denies. The trial began in 2020.

“What the prosecutors are doing to Bibi Netanyahu is madness,” Trump reacted on Truth Social, asserting that this legal process will hinder Netanyahu from negotiating with Palestinian Hamas and Iran.
