Both Married and Celibate Clergy are United: Father Esai
This week has been filled with celebrations representing the historical and spiritual significance that has taken place in the Ararat plain, said Father Esai Artyunyan, director of the information system of the Mother See, during a conversation with reporters.
Commenting on the assaults against the church, Father Esai noted that it is difficult to encapsulate in one word what issue is being addressed. “Both married and celibate clergy are united, and cheap manipulations will never succeed. What has been happening in recent months is evident to all of us, and the Mother See has voiced its position at various times. It is simply sad to see that such manifestations can occur in Armenian reality. Holy Etchmiadzin has stood firm for centuries, and this is a testament to the strength of our victorious spirit and steadfast faith. We will overcome these trials as well,” he stated.
