What is the Situation at the Meghri Checkpoint: Citizens Coming from Iran to Armenia

The Meghri checkpoint currently sees numerous citizens entering Armenia from Iran. This was reported by Sputnik Armenia.

"Taxis from Meghri to Yerevan are now charging $220 (approximately 85,000 drams), whereas previously it was 7,000 drams per person, or around 28,000 drams for a car," the news outlet wrote.

It is worth mentioning that on June 13, Israel began a large-scale operation against Iran, accusing the country of implementing a clandestine nuclear weapons program that allegedly reached a point of no return. Airstrikes and diversionary teams have targeted nuclear facilities, military command structures, nuclear physicists, air force bases, air defense systems, and surface-to-surface missiles.
