Heavy Rain, Thunderstorms, and Hail: Weather Update for Armenia

From May 13 to 15, heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected across the entire territory of the Republic of Armenia. In some areas, the rain will be torrential, with the possibility of hail. This information is provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center of the Republic of Armenia.

According to the report, winds will blow from the southwest at a speed of 2-5 m/s, with wind intensification expected during thunderstorms reaching 18-23 m/s.

Temperatures are projected to gradually decrease by 8-10 degrees from May 13 to 15.

In Yerevan as well, rain and thunderstorms are anticipated during this period, with torrential rains expected in certain areas. Wind intensification during thunderstorms is also expected, with speeds of 15-18 m/s.
