Alen Simonyan Responds to Questions About Vardan Ghukasyan
“I don’t listen. I have made a decision for myself that even if he allows himself to say something about me, I won’t listen,” Alen Simonyan stated during a press conference today regarding questions about Vardan Ghukasyan.
He considers Ghukasyan to be beneath his dignity, level, and intellect, and refuses to listen to his broadcasts. Simonyan expressed confidence that statements containing criminal elements could not go unpunished: “The last time I heard about him was when he called for revenge against my 15-16-year-old son. I want to understand what kind of political stance this is; anyone can go on air and say, ‘Grab this child and take revenge.’”
The Speaker of the National Assembly pointed out that the political party criticizing the government does not realize that its actions are causing its ratings to decline.
