Zelensky Is Not a Dictator, He Is a Legitimate President: Macron
French President Emmanuel Macron has expressed support for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. U.S. President Donald Trump referred to Zelensky as a “dictator without elections.” In response, the French president emphasized that Zelensky is a legitimate president.
“The President of Ukraine has been elected through free elections, which cannot be said of Vladimir Putin, who has long since killed his opponents and manipulated elections,” Macron stated.
Macron also addressed the issue of organizing elections in Ukraine, saying, “Can Zelensky hold elections in a country from which millions of Ukrainians have fled, millions have been conscripted to the front, and where a whole part of the territory has been occupied by Russia?”
