«Did any journalist at least ask whether he learned the ‘Our Father’?” – Secretary of CP

The Secretary of the National Assembly faction of the Civil Contract party, Arthur Hovhannisyan, made a post on his Facebook page.

“Did any journalist at least ask whether he learned the ‘Our Father’?” he wrote, referring to Robert Kocharyan.

Hovhannisyan recalled a famous video from the 1990s, in which the first president Levon Ter-Petrosyan asks Robert Kocharyan, “Do you know the ‘Our Father’?”

“Don’t ask me that question,” was Kocharyan’s response.

“When I say you are not Armenian, you don’t believe it,” Ter-Petrosyan remarked.

In response, Kocharyan concluded, “I am Albanian.”
