After Zelensky's Statement, the State Duma Calls Him Insane
The deputy of the State Duma of Crimea and member of the Security Committee, Mikhail Sheremet, has labeled President Vladimir Zelensky's recent statement about conditions for ending the military conflict in Ukraine by 2025 as provocative.
Earlier, Zelensky stated that there are possibilities to end the conflict in Ukraine by 2025 if the U.S. and the EU have the power to 'force' Russia to comply. He also advocated for increased pressure on Russia from the U.S. in conjunction with the European Union, primarily through sanctions.
“Zelensky's statement is a provocation aimed at prolonging the military conflict in Ukraine and continuing to multiply the number of deaths and human miseries. Today, Zelensky is acting unlawfully, and his position is no longer significant,” he said.
According to him, Zelensky could have prevented the military conflict in Ukraine but did everything possible to plunge the country into the machinery of war to please the geopolitical interests of the West.
