Trump Announces Intent to Speak with Putin
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has announced that he remains committed to negotiations with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in an effort to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. This announcement was made by the White House leader during a meeting with Japan's Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, as reported by RIA Novosti.
"I will probably talk to Putin. I have always had a good relationship with Putin," said the U.S. President.
At the same time, Trump reiterated his desire to bring an end to the Ukrainian crisis, stating once again that the crisis would not have occurred if he had been the U.S. leader at that time. Additionally, the White House leader emphasized that Europe is not providing enough support to Ukraine.
